Y'know, Manda and I were in Target and we squeeled like Barry Manilow fans catching him as a guest performer at a Celine Dion concert on youtube when we saw these melamine dishes. You can bet that we would have a bunch of these in stock at Petite Jolie...

Petite Jolie Office and Gathering Space Inspirations
As the owners of the country's most fabulous fictional store, Tara and Amanda need 1) an office that reflects both of their traditional and bohemian modern styles 2) a great place to entertain and schmooze with all of the country's most fabulous designers, and 3) a comfortable and chic space to relax with a glass of wine after, or during, working hours. Here are some of our inspirations for office and gathering spaces to suit our needs.

Items #31, #32, and #33
Let's face it-- they rule the roost. They run the show... your dog is your best friend-- but his bed doesn't have to be an eyesore. There are a number of adorable and even multi-functional alternatives to that oversized plastic monstrosity in your kitchen.

Contemplating retail space...
Manda and I have been discussing the complicated subject of "where" and we've come to a conclusion here at the Petite Jolie office...
In Maine, farmhouses are to us what castles are to the English: they're everywhere and no one wants to buy them, but we cherish them as a culture.
In Maine, farmhouses are to us what castles are to the English: they're everywhere and no one wants to buy them, but we cherish them as a culture.
In order to support our local history and nourish our invaluable retail enterprise we chose to find a farmhouse.
Here's one I found today:
8 acres. A big lawn for grand soirees of all sorts. Plenty of parking. A pool for Manda and I to lounge by after-hours (or before) with margaritas. Definitely potential at $189,000.
